About This is a freebie multi-texture set for Aiko's "Cool Fever" outfit. (The "Cool Fever" set is by AS3Design and is sold at DAZ 3D. This is the first ever texture set that I have offered to anyone but myself.  :)  And it is the first time ever-ever that I have made MAT files, even for myself. Minor Drawbacks:  Because I have tried to get this set done in time for people to play with before Christmas 2007, it is not as complete as I intended when I began.  There are very few bump maps.  Only one belt has grommets.  There is no  rose texture, even though I made two, because I found I could not MAT for a prop! (I have so much to learn!) And the "Jolly" blouse texture is not perfectly aligned.  Still, it *is* jolly!  :) But those things are easy to overlook, at least for me, because it is an eye-delighting and playful lot of textures.  I mean, how big a deal are grommets, really?  And the bright and festive look of the textures doesn't really need a lot of bumpiness, in my opinion.  However,as I find the time I will add to this set, and improve upon it. The main drawback of this set is that I have not had time to learn to prepare textures and MATS for DAZ/Studio.  I simply ran out of time.  Even though this is a freebie set, I apologize to DAZ/Studio users, because I wanted to include everybody in my first gift to the 3D fellowship!  But I will learn, and Studio users will be included then! Major Advantages "Merry Christmas, Aiko!" has been MAT filed so that not only do the skirt, blouse and belt each have several full texture MATS, but the collar, belt buckle, and button set also have separate MATs, so that they can all be interchanged!  This means they can be easily added to any other "Cool Fever" texture sets you may have.  Add any of my collars on "Iroppoi", for example.  Fun! Fun! Fun! :) All textures, including the bump maps, are hand drawn by Tallulahdahling, so there are no worries about treading on fabric pattern copyrights. These textures are cheery and perfect for holiday renders, but they also will work well (except perhaps the screamingly red and green blouse) at any other time of year. You may object that "Cool Fever" is a little *too* cool to be worn in a winter wonderland, but I live in Australia.  So there! Besides, there are gloves. What you get In "Merry Christmas Aiko!" you get: 5 blouse textures 7 belt textures 7 skirt textures 6 tie textures 2 shoe textures 1 glove texture And MAT files to apply them, plus... Separate MAT files to apply: 6 buckle textures 6 Button set textures 6 collar textures The blouse and belt textures each apply with their full sets, including a matching button, collar, or buckle texture, respectively.  But the extra MATs make it possible to play around with all kinds of looks. I hope you enjoy my first effort to give a freebie to you! I aim to become ever more knowledgeable, skilled, organized,and clever, until you say, "Hey, Tallu! Previews Merry and Cheery red and black! The Aiko sisters want this wreath hung up high, but they're hoping someone will do it for them.  Why? Their newly textured holiday outfits did not come with underwear! (The wreath and its textures are not included.  They're from DAZ.http://www.daz3d.com, Redhouse Christmas Carol Expansions 1 and 2.  Aiko and her textures are also found at DAZ.) Merry and Cheery red and green! The Aiko sisters are preparing their gifts while wearing yet another set of textures on that same "Cool Fever" outfit from DAZ 3D.  (Props and their textures not included.  Again, DAZ products.) Merry and Cheery Oops! And here are our sisters again, STILL wearing the Cool Fever outfit, but this time in a texture set called "Jolly".  Cheery Aiko is pointing out to Merry Aiko that in the Jolly blouse texture, there is a bit of an alignment problem.  However, it's such a jolly texture, she wants to wear it anyway, and pretends that she bought it at a "seconds" shop. The Glove There is but one glove texture in this set, but its bump is very glove-leathery. The Green Shoes Funky shoe textures by the Haute Couture designer, Tallu!
