Here’s a sampler of some of the seamless tiles in Part 1, but the actual tiles are larger than these images, many are much larger. In part I you’ll find 45 colored seamless tiles and 52 greyscale ones (made from the colored ones). All of the tiles in Parts 1, 2, and 3 are 100 PPI.
These tiles are some of the ones you’ll find in Parts 2 and 3. In part 2 you’ll find 44 colored seamless tiles and 47 greyscale ones, and in Part 3 there are 34 colored seamless tiles and 33 greyscale ones.
Josephine is learning to live with the Zombie Apocalypse. She manages to keep her clothes good and clean, but that means they get good and faded and worn out, too. And… wait… can you see that? What’s that peeking around the truck back there? Josephine! Grab the axe! (By the way, the rusty textures on the metal objects are not part of the seamless tile set. Only the fabric tiles are.)
When Josephine was a little girl, she wanted to be a hippie. But now that she has to live like a hippie (see the Zombie Apocalypse above), she doesn’t want to be one. Life can be so funny.
What’s that pioneer lady giggling about? Ooops! I forgot to give her hair! Thank goodness she’s got a good sense of humor. And a nice faded blouse and old-fasioned print skirt.
Bonnie is demonstrating how chic Old, Faded, Worn and Antique can be. And with the greyscale tile that matches the carpet plugged into “Displacement Strength” (D/S) or the “Displacement” channel (Poser), you can make the carpet look like carpet. Easy peasy.
Some people exude sophisticated evil, don’t you think? Here, a tile that could look old and worn in one place looks pretty darned classy in this place. Also, evil.
Some people are sophisticated, others are not. Reena likes to demonstrate sophistication gone awry, wearing an assortment of greyscale tiles and using one of them to create a transparent design in her scarf.
And now for the TERMS and CONDITIONS:
All of these tiling texture patterns are original, hand-drawn creations by me.
I guarantee that they are mine to give and to make terms and conditions for. So here are the terms and conditions:
The only RESTRICTIONS on your use of these tiles are:
1) You may not SELL them in other COLLECTIONS of tiles, as tiles per se. This is because I don’t think it’s good business to sell to someone something they can get free elsewhere, and I don’t wish to be a party to bad business policies.
2) You may not take credit for my creations. Just don’t say or imply that you created the tiles. I’ll be happy. You don’t have to actually give me credit.
3) If you give them to someone for free, make sure you include this Terms & Conditions page.
Now for the good news!
You MAY use these tiles in any personal projects AND:
1) in commercial renders.
2) in commercial texture maps.
3) as commercial tiles applied by MAT pose files to specific models (because you are offering the customer your own efforts at making new combinations and easy applications).
4) as elements in your own original tiles, as long as you change my tiles enough (not just a color change) that they offer the customer something new and original of your own.
5) As elements in commercial greeting cards, web design and other such money-making ventures.
I like to make things simple. Just don’t sell my tiles without adding the above-described value of your own, don’t give them away without this Readme, and don’t pretend that you created something that you didn’t create.
That’s it.
